Imperialism

First and foremost, we wish to assert that imperialism is the natural state of humanity. We are all imperialists at heart, though some deny it. It's rooted in our genes and has been with us since tribal days.

It's not just the act of conquering that is imperialism. It's also the desire to conquer. As humans, we are programmed with a will to power, and it manifests itself as a drive for expansionism.

For example, you might consider yourself a non-imperialist. However, is it not true that you seek to conquer your own domain - your room or house? Or even the city where you live?

Of course, you do. That is the natural state of humanity: expansionism and imperialism.

It's a phenomenon that you rarely see outside of human beings. It would be like expecting an amoeba to conquer its own domain...impossible because it doesn't possess the will or desire to do so.

And yet, it's not a bad thing. It is perfectly natural to pursue your own domain and defend it from invaders
